Wellness Community Support Services, Inc encompasses several like minded professionals that have come together with a common goal. Dr. James F. Lassiter, Ph.D. P.C. has been a mental health clinician with over 40 years of experience treating individuals with a variety of issues stemming from depression, anxiety to stress-based ailments. Working closely with Dr. Lassiter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Substance Abuse Counselor with over 25 years of experience, a retired Probation/Parole officer with over 20 years of experience and two educators with a combination of over 30 years of experience and lastly, Mr Edward R. Collum from Fresh Skills which is a workplace and personal development company. We have come together to collaborate on health and community development for the uninsured and underserved population. We are located in Chesapeake, VA and serve all of Hampton Roads VA.

It takes a whole community to support individuals and families who do not have access to mental health services and all the related spokes on the wheel to improve their lives. The Lassiter’s have devoted their entire careers to providing exceptional professional mental health services. They realize that there are many gaps in an adult’s life when they fall out of their community…whether by choice, addictions, traumatic circumstances, or personality disorders. Additionally, too many uninsured people need an opportunity to improve their lives, become engaged in their communities with independent living and the ability to gain financial security through employment.
